CHATTANOOGA - The Chattanooga Beach Volleyball team is back home after a short road trip for a doubleheader on Thursday, March 17. The Blue and Gold will host the Jacksonville State Gamecocks at the UTC Sports Complex at 3 and 5 p.m.
The Mocs enter the week at 6-2 with losses to UNC Wilmington and North Alabama. Chattanooga has netted two Ohio Valley Conference pair of the week accolades in Baylle Young/
Neva Clark and
Gylian Finch/
Paige Gallentine. Last week, in their first action as a duo,
Joy Courtright and
Julia Davis went 3-0 at the 5th pair.Â
Jacksonville State is 0-4. The Mocs are 3-1 against common opponents between the two teams. The only loss both teams share is UNCW. Unlike Chattanooga, which started play three weeks ago, last weekend was JSU's first weekend of competition.Â
