Opening statement.
"Not a lot I can say about the performance that these guys put on today defensively especially coming out of the gates. Sometimes the hardest thing you can do is have a lead at halftime. Playing ahead sometimes is harder than playing behind. I just can't say enough about the juice we had in the first half defensively. And we carried that in to the second half. Really locked into what we were trying to accomplish. We were very competitive defensively and that's what we wanted to do."
 
On preparation for the finals.
"I don't know. I think we're beyond that point at this point. We've played a lot of games. We've seen a lot of teams that can shoot those 3s. We've played teams that are faster, slower, more man, more zone matchups. We've seen so much so far. We're going to play a team tomorrow that we've played two times already. The way this game prepares you is to look back at something you've done recently that you did really well. I think to some degree that affects your mindset going into the next game."

On shot selection.
"Coach says that we're an older team, so he trusts us. Just to play freely. He knows we're going to share the ball. We're very fortunate to have a team where we don't have to have a lot of calls to get someone the ball because we're good at making the right decision at the right time. As a team, we've had some games where players stepped up. We just wanted the best shot with the team. And with maturity, we typically pick the best shot. Coach trusts us to do that."
 
On how today's win feels.
"It feels great. But honestly, we came here for more. We're going to celebrate right now but when we get back to the hotel, we'll let it go because they don't care about what we did today. Tomorrow's a whole other day. This is what we expected coming in."

"I think we had a good win. Like we said in the locker room, that's where I'm going to leave it, but I know that our team isn't satisfied. We packed to be here until Tuesday."

"I just go with the flow. Whatever the team needs is what I'm going to do."
