CHATTANOOGA– After getting off to a 4-1 start, Chattanooga's beach volleyball team will open its home slate with two matches on Thursday, March 10. The Mocs host UNC Wilmington at noon before a rematch against North Alabama at 4 p.m.
Following the home opening doubleheader, the Mocs will travel to Clarksville, Tenn. for three matches hosted by Austin Peay at the Governors Beach Challenge.
The first 50 students who attend the North Alabama match will get a free sandwich courtesy of McAlister's Deli. Live stats for all UTC matches are available, HERE.
In Clarksville, the Mocs will face Central Arkansas, Carson Newman and Austin Peay.
UTC is 4-1 this year after picking up wins against Tusculum, Eastern Kentucky, Carson Newman and North Alabama. The Mocs have won both Ohio Valley Conference Pairs of the Week awards after Baylee Young and Neva Clark picked up the accolade after a 2-0 weekend to start the season and Gylian Finch and Paige Gallentine went 1-1 at the No. 2 pair last Saturday.
North Alabama is 4-1 this season with its lone loss coming to the Mocs. UNC Wilmington is 5-3 and will play Eckerd prior to Thursday's match.
