Atlanta, Ga.– Chattanooga's beach volleyball team continues its road slate this weekend at the GSU Digging Duals, a round robin tournament hosted by No. 13 Georgia State. In addition to the hosts, the Mocs will face Tampa, UAB and Austin Peay.
The Mocs are coming off of a 1-3 outing at the Southern Miss Beach Invitational. UTC defeated Huntingdon 5-0 for its lone win of the weekend. The team is 11-7 entering this weekend after beginning Ohio Valley Conference action 2-2 two weeks ago.
Georgia State is 14-11 entering the weekend, UAB sits at 8-15, while Tampa is 10-12. Austin Peay is 11-6 and defeated the Mocs earlier this season, 5-0. In that dual, three matches were decided in the third set by two points.
