Atlanta, Ga. -- Chattanooga's beach volleyball team continued its road stretch at the Georgia State Digging Duals in Atlanta, Ga. on Friday afternoon and suffered a 4-1 loss to the University of Tampa before dropping a 5-0 decision to the University of Alabama at Birmingham. 

The Mocs fall to 11-9 with the setbacks. UAB swept its two matches to improve to 10-15, while Tampa split the first day of the GSU Digging Duals to move to 11-13. 

Hanley Lomax and Bailey Steger won the lone match of the day for Chattanooga with a 2-1 victory as the No. 3 pair vs. Tampa.

The Mocs conclude the GSU Digging Duals tomorrow, April 9 against Austin Peay at 8 a.m. before facing 13th-ranked Georgia State at noon.
