CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs are one of five FCS programs with multiple players on the Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List to begin the 2022 season. Offensive lineman
McClendon Curtis and defensive tackle
Devonnsha Maxwell are square in the sights of the NFL's top evaluators.
Â
"It's a great statement for both D-Max and McClendon," Coach
Rusty Wright shared. "They both work their tails off and are great leaders on our football team. They've worked their way into the discussion of being among the best players in the nation at their positions and have the film to back it up."
Â
Curtis and Maxwell look to follow the path of New England Patriots first round pick
Cole Strange who represented the program last January in Mobile. Should they both make the final roster, they'll be the first Mocs teammates to compete together in the event.
Â
The duo being included on the list makes the Mocs one of just five FCS programs with two or more entries. The program joins Jackson State, North Dakota State, South Dakota State and Stephen F. Austin. Furman's Ryan Miller (TE) is the Southern Conference's other list member. See the entire watch list at the link above.
Â
The Mocs 2022 schedule is linked above. Five home games are included with visits from Wofford, North Alabama, VMI, Mercer and Samford. Season tickets start at just $60 for general admission. Click the link above, go to the Go Mocs app or call (423) 266-MOCS (6627) to purchase.
