CHATTANOOGA---The game week train keeps chugging along for the Chattanooga Mocs. It's week 8 with no breaks, and the sixth straight gameday in Southern Conference play. The Rail Rivalry is on tap with ETSU coming to Finley Stadium Saturday.
Â
The big news of the weekend carried over into practice Tuesday. Fed Ex Ground National Special Teams Player of the Week
Clayton Crile had some special guest on hand, unbeknownst to the grad transfer specialist.
Â
FCS Ambassador Gary Reasons was on hand with national and local Fed Ex Ground representatives to present Crile's award in person at the conclusion of practice. It was a special moment for the team coming off a big 22-10 triumph at Mercer. Reasons, a 2-time Super Bowl Champions Linebacker for the New York Giants, is a College Football Hall of Famer playing at Northwestern State in Louisiana, also an FCS competitor.
Â
Coach
Rusty Wright began the session followed by
Reuben Lowery III and then Crile. Reasons spoke as well about the Stats Perform Awards program as well as the work to shine the light on FCS Football sponsored by Fed Ex Ground with the
You Tube Channel FCS Delivered.
