Violeta Fernandez-Tagle and the Chattanooga Mocs are in the hunt at the Mercer Invitational.

FORSYTH, Ga.---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team were tied for first after 18 holes of the Mercer Invitational. The Mocs and host Bears both shot 1-over 289. The second round was not completed and scores incomplete.
Violeta Fernandez-Tagle shot 2-under 70 with a trio of 73s completing the team score. Those came from Kera Healey, Makenzie Cooper and Giulia Foresta. Nieves Martin had the drop score of 76.
The teams return to River Forest Golf Club on Tuesday morning to complete round two and play the final 18. Live scoring, including pairings when available, is linked above.
