Makenzie Cooper and the Chattanooga Mocs are headed to tourney No. 2 in Virginia Beach at the Evie Odom Invite.

STATS/NOTES | SCORING | ABOUT CHATTANOOGA GOLF

CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs are back on the tee this weekend looking to take advantage of a familiar location. The ladies start play Friday at the Evie Odom Invitational. The 3-day, 54-hole event is played at Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach.

This is the fourth trip to Princess Anne. In the previous nine rounds, the Mocs averaged just below 288 stroke per round.

"We are excited to be back out on the road," Coach Colette Murray shared. "We have had some really special moments on this course in the past. "It's a really great event, ODU and the coaching staff do a really great job to create a memorable one for the players.

"It's a fun course, and I feel like we had some time to get better the past few weeks. This gives us the opportunity to really put what we have been working on to the test."

The lineup remains the same from the opener at Vanderbilt. It includes Kera Healey, Violeta Fernandez, Giulia Foresta, Carmen Belmonte and Makenzie Cooper. That quintet looks to build on a solid start against a strong field at Vandy.

The Mocs tee off Friday at 8:40 a.m., playing with Penn State and UNF. Belmonte leads off followed by Cooper (8:50), Fernandez (9:00), Healey (9:10) and Foresta (9:20). Live scoring, including pairings when available, is linked above.

4th visit to Princess Anne C.C. 3rd-place individual finishes in each of the three previous entries. Average team score? 287.89.
Assistant Coach Sarah Busey spent her grad transfer season (2021-22) at ODU, host of the Evie Odom Invite.
Violeta Fernandez, Giulia Foresta & Kera Healey are off to solid starts in one key stat for scoring. They all three kept the big numbers off their cards with no score higher than a bogey over all 54 holes at Vandy.
