Week 12 Press Conference Features Alabama Natives

Guard Almarion Crim joined Coach Rusty Wright and defensive back Kam Brown at the Chattanooga Mocs weekly press conference.

CHATTANOOGA---The 16th-ranked Chattanooga Mocs met with the media today to talk Alabama game week. Coach Rusty Wright was joined by two Alabama natives, senior defensive back Kam Brown (Mobile) and sophomore guard Almarion Crim (Adamsville).
 
The Mocs are making their third foray into SEC play under Wright with games at Tennessee in 2019 and at Kentucky in 2021. They'll not skip a year into the next one opening the 2024 campaign with the Vols.
 
This is the first trip to Tuscaloosa since 2016. That squad led 3-0 through one quarter before the Tide scored 31 unanswered points for the win. Future NFL players in that game for the Mocs? WR C.J. Board, DE Keionta Davis, LB Tae Davis (Carolina), OL Corey Levin (Tennessee) and DT Isaiah Mack. Tae Davis and Levin are still in the league.

  • Chattanooga alum and NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens was named to the Senior Bowl 75th Anniversary squad.
