CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga softball Mocs will open play at home this weekend with the 2023 Chattanooga Challenge. The three-day tournament will be held at the Warner Park Field #1 and Field #2 due to renovations at Frost Stadium.
 
The Mocs will be on Field #1 throughout the tournament. On Friday, UTC will host Marshall at 3:00 p.m. followed by Indiana State at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, the Mocs will host the Thundering Herd again at 3:00 p.m. followed by Western Illinois at 5:30 p.m. Sunday's game will start at 11:00 a.m. against Maine followed by a matchup with Western Illinois at 1:30 p.m.
 
Play will begin Friday at 12:30 with a pair of neutral site games. Western Illinois and Indiana State will play on Field #1 while Marshall and Maine will be on Field #2. Western Illinois and Indiana State will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Field #2.
 
On Saturday at 12:30 p.m., Maine and Western Illinois will be on Field #1 and Indiana State and Marshall will be on Field #2. Indiana State and Maine will be on Field #2 at 3:00 p.m.
 
Apart from the Mocs' two games on Sunday, Marshall will take on Indiana State at 11:00 a.m.
 
Live Stats will be available for all games. There will not be streaming video. Tickets for the tournament are on sale at GoMocs.com or at the Frost Stadium ticket booth. Entrance is across from Frost Stadium. The entrance by the Zoo will be closed.
