CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team looks to extend its four-match winning streak when the squad travels to Clinton, S.C., for a Sunday morning matchup at Presbyterian.
First serve is set for 10 a.m. ET at the Templeton Center Tennis Courts. There will be no live stats for this matchup with full results being available after conclusion of play on Sunday.
Chattanooga (7-2) is currently riding a four-match win streak and aims to pick up its eighth win in the first 10 matches of the season for the second time under head coach
Chuck Merzbacher. With a win, the Mocs would post its longest winning streak since rattling off eight in-a-row in 2020.
"This match against PC will certainly be a tough test for us," said coach Merzbacher. "They have a strong lineup and we are definitely looking forward to it."
UTC and PC will meet for the fifth-straight season and for the seventh time in the all-time series history. The two programs are locked in the all-time series at 3-3 with the Blue Hose claiming wins in three of the last four meetings.
Chattanooga will return to action on Sunday, March 4, when the team welcomes Kennesaw State to the Scenic City. First serve is currently TBA and is planned to be held outdoors at the UTC Tennis Center, weather pending. Stick to GoMocs.com and the schedule page for all updated information.
