MONTGOMERY, Ala. --- The Chattanooga Mocs beach volleyball team found itself back in the win column behind a 4-1 victory over Jacksonville State on the opening day of the Huntingdon Beach Bash Friday evening in Montgomery, Ala.
 
Following the win, Chattanooga improves to 2-3 on the season ahead of a doubleheader tomorrow. Jacksonville State drops to 0-2 this season following a tight 3-2 loss to Florida Southern on Friday to open its season.
 
The Mocs earned all four victories in the match as Chattanooga had to forfeit the No. 5 pairing due to limited roster availability for the second-straight weekend. Despite trailing 1-0 out of the gate, UTC saw fairly sizable victories across the board to help earn the team win.
 
Full results with pairings were not made available following the match, however, will be available in due time. Final scores of each pairing can be found below.
 
Chattanooga (2-3) returns to action tomorrow on the final day of the Huntingdon Beach Bash hosted by Huntingdon College. The Mocs will face Florida Southern and the tournaments hosts on Saturday morning with start times starting at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. All times are subject to change.
