MONTGOMERY, Ala. --- The Chattanooga Mocs beach volleyball team completed a three-match sweep at the Huntingdon Beach Bash this weekend after earning a pair of wins on Saturday, downing Florida Southern 4-1 and the tournament hosts Huntingdon College 3-2, to conclude weekend play.
 
Following the two wins, Chattanooga has won its last three matches and improves to 4-3 overall this season. Florida Southern moves to 4-7 overall while Huntingdon now sits at 13-8 this season.
 
Chattanooga earned victories at the No. 1 and No. 2 pairings against Florida Southern before the No. 3 tandem went in favor of the other Mocs (FLSO). UTC cleaned up the No. 4 and No. 5 pairings to earn the 4-1 team victory.
 
In a tight match against the tournament hosts, Chattanooga swept the No. 3-5 pairings to help notch the necessary three team points for the win. The Mocs dropped the matches at the No. 1 and 2 slots after seeing the three victories at the bottom of the lineup.
 
Chattanooga (4-3) returns to action on Tuesday, March 21, when it travels to UT Martin for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. ET. The first match of the doubleheader will mark the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) opener for both teams.
