CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs beach volleyball team quickly returns to action following last weekend's Scenic City Showdown with a three-match slate on Tuesday against a trio of non-conference opponents in Macon, Ga., at the Mercer Bears Beach Bash.
 
Chattanooga (10-7) will face the likes of Mercer (5-19) at 8 a.m. ET, Berry College (Ga.) (11-10) at 12 p.m. ET and Erskine (Ala.) (3-19) at 4 p.m. ET. All three matches will be non-conference tilts.
 
The Mocs are coming off a 2-2 weekend at its own Scenic City Showdown last weekend. UTC earned wins over Liberty and Carson-Newman on Saturday following a pair of defeats to OVC-leader UT Martin and ASUN-member EKU on Friday.
 
Chattanooga (4-2) currently sits in second place in the current OVC regular season standings two matches behind the Skyhawks (6-0), who completed its season sweep over the Mocs on Friday. The regular season slate features one more "OVC Weekend" on April 21-22 at Morehead State where UTC will face four league opponents over a two-day span.
 
The final "OVC Weekend" will occur a week ahead of the 2023 OVC Championships which will be held in Martin, Tenn., at the Skyhawks Beach Complex. UTM is the defending OVC tournament champions following their crown and trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2022.
 
Full match scores and results following Tuesday's Mercer Bears Beach Bash will be available at GoMocs.com. There will be no live stats or video of any of the three contests.
