Michelle Fuzzard (LaCourse) – Softball – 2008-12
Fuzzard is one of four Mocs in the Southern Conference Hall of Fame after being inducted in 2022.  She was also a member of the SoCon All-Century team announced in 2021.  A 2-Time SoCon Player of the Year (2011, 2012), Fuzzard is the only All-American in school history, earning third team recognition from College Sports Madness in 2012. She ranks first in the Chattanooga record books for most runs batted in (217) and total bases (453) along with numerous top 5 all-time rankings. She also holds season records for slugging percentage (.846), on base percentage (.543) and runs batted in (75). The 2008 SoCon Freshman of the Year, Fuzzard was a 4-time first team All-SoCon selection while leading the Mocs to four SoCon regular season and three tournament titles. The career .368 hitter set the single season SoCon record for RBI (75) in 2011.  Fuzzard was also the 2012 SoCon Nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award and one of 30 national candidates for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award in 2012.

Stephan Jaeger – Men’s Golf - 2009-12
Jaeger was a 2012 First Team PING All-American and 2nd team Golfweek All-American. He was the 2012 NCAA Regional Champion, leading the Mocs to the team title and an appearance at the NCAA Championships. Jaeger is the only 3-time Southern Conference Player of the Year (2010, 2011, 2012) and was the 2009 SoCon Freshman of the Year. As a senior in 2012, he was on the Ben Hogan Award Watch List for college golf’s player of the year.  He was a 4-time PING All-East Region and 4-time All-SoCon selection. Jaeger set school records for wins (4), career scoring average (72.10), par or better rounds (69) and rounds in the 60s (29). In the classroom, he was also a 2011 and 2012 Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar. Jaeger was a member of the Southern Conference All-Century team announced in 2021. 

Bobby Orand – Wrestling - 1977-80
Orand was a 3-time Southern Conference Champion, winning the league title at 190 pounds in 1978 and 1979 and 177 pounds in 1980.  The only reason he was not a 4-time SoCon Champion is because UTC did not join the league until his sophomore season. He qualified for the 1979 and 1980 NCAA Tournaments and is a member of Southern Conference All-Century Team announced in 2021. He is one of 18 Mocs win three or more SoCon titles in a career. 

Frank Reed – Softball Head Coach – 2002-23
Reed is in his 23rd year as head coach of the Mocs softball program.  The 6-time SoCon Coach of the Year has more than 700 career wins at UTC.  He has guided the Mocs to eight SoCon Regular Season Titles and 10 SoCon Tournament Titles, the most of any school in the league. UTC has made 10 NCAA Tournament Appearances in his tenure.  He coached three SoCon Players of the Year, six SoCon Pitchers of the Year, four SoCon Freshmen of the Year and dozens of All-SoCon student-athletes.

Anastasia Zhukova – Women’s Tennis – 2006-07
Zhukova was a 2-time Southern Conference Player of the Year in her two seasons in the program.  She posted a 23-1 dual match singles record at No. 1 in 2006 and a 24-2 dual match singles record at No. 1 in 2007 for a .940 career winning percentage (47-3).  She was an All-SoCon singles and doubles honoree both years and was an ITA Scholar-Athlete with a 3.9 GPA.  Her No. 23 Division I ranking is the highest in UTC history and she was also No. 47 in the country in doubles. Zhukova was named to the SoCon All-Century team announced in 2021.

Gordon L. Davenport Award – Hiren Desai
Presented for outstanding commitment to UTC Mocs Athletics. Desai is an alum and longtime supporter of Mocs athletics. Hiren is a 2-time supporter of the One Chattanooga student-athlete enhancement initiative, as well as being involved in various projects such as the Indoor Golf Facility inside of McKenzie Arena, a leadership Mocs Club supporter, and supporting many of our sports through philanthropic giving.

Joe Morrison Award – Cedric Greenway  
Presented to a former UTC student-athlete or coach for notable accomplishments and life experience. Cedric Greenway was a standout for the Mocs football team from 1987-90. In addition to a long career as an IT professional for the State of Georgia, Greenway has amassed an impressive acting resume.  He has appeared in numerous shows and movies, including Cobra Kai, Tulsa, Sleepy Hollow, MacGyver and many others. 

A.C. "Scrappy" Moore Award – McClendon Curtis  
Given to the student-athlete who best personifies the athletic department's vision of achieving excellence. Curtis was an All-America offensive lineman who graduated in May with a Master’s Degree in Teacher Leadership.  He was the 2022 Southern Conference Jacob’s Blocking Award Winner and a 2-time finalist for the Doris Robinson Award, given to the top student-athlete in FCS football.  A 3-time All-SoCon honoree, Curtis served two terms on the NCAA Football Oversight Committee and worked as a tutor and mentor in the Mocs’ Student-Athlete Academic Enhancement Center.

Harold Wilkes Award – Dr. Frank Trundle, Jr.
Established to recognize a volunteer, coach, staff member or University administrator who has demonstrated exemplary leadership in furthering Chattanooga Athletics. Trundle has served as the Mocs’ team dentist for 37 years and is equally well known around the athletics department for his work on the sidelines at UTC football games.  “Bubba” has spent many seasons at home and on the road as a valued member of the equipment crew.
