WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (October 13, 2024) – The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team wrapped up Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Ohio Valley Regional Championships play this weekend in West Lafayette, Ind., on the campus of Purdue University.
 
The Mocs saw Ryan Mudre, Kristof Kincses, Gabriel Castillo and Cortland Grove all earn opening qualifying first round victories in singles play. Mudre, Castillo and Grove each captured second round qualifying wins which allowed the trio to earn berths into Main Draw action, before all bowing out in the Round of 64.
 
In doubles play, Chattanooga featured three tandems in the Main Draw Round of 64 bracket with Mudre/Castillo, Ethan Carr/Kincses and Grove/Jakub Jupa. The duos all dropped tough decisions in the opening round to representatives from ETSU, IUPUI and Xavier, respectively.
