Notes
  • A win marks the 27th 7-win season in school history. It'll be the third straight and just the fifth time for the program with three or more in a row: 7 (1977-83), 4 (2013-16) & 3 (1927-29 & 1940-42).
  • A win makes Rusty Wright the fastest coach in school history to 30 SoCon wins. He currently has 29 wins in 43 games. Current record is 47 games (Russ Huesman/30-17).
  • TE Jay Gibson, DT Marlon Taylor & RB Lance Jackson are the last three student-athletes to be on each roster of the Wright Era (2019-current).
  • 17 takeaways over the last five games including 11 interceptions.
  • In six wins: 198.3 rush yards per game/Reggie Davis: 105.3 ypg. In four losses, 56.8 per game/Davis: 40.0 ypg.
  • The Mocs have rushed for 10,255 yards in 62 games under Wright, 165.4 yards per game.
  • Lowery is among the team leaders in tackles for loss with 6.5. His slot safety role has him active at all three levels of the defense with more emphasis in the front two. He ranked top 10 in the SoCon in 2022 with 8.5 in an injury-shortened campaign.
