3 x 2K
The wide receiver trio of
Javin Whatley,
Chris Domercant and
Sam Phillips topped the 2,000 mark for their careers over the last two weeks. Last week at Western, Whatley started it & then Domercant joined him on his first quarter TD reception today. Early third quarter, Phillips made it a triple dose.
Â
It's amazing considering there have been just seven prior members of the 2K club in receiving yards. Domercant got the vast majority of his at Stonehill (1,553) before coming to the Scenic City in January. Their current totals: 2,067-Domercant, 2,047-Whatley & 2,009-Phillips.
