CHATTANOOGA (March 16, 2024) – The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team is set for its Southern Conference opener when the squad hosts The Citadel on Sunday morning at the UTC Tennis Center on campus.

Chattanooga (6-10, 0-0 SoCon) looks to snap a three-match skid after wrapping up its non-conference schedule with tough road defeats at Gradner-Webb, Georgia Southern and North Florida. The Mocs will look to capture its seventh-straight SoCon opening win after claiming its last six openers, all against The Citadel.
The Citadel (6-15, 1-2 SoCon) saw a three-match winning streak snapped on Friday with a 7-0 non-conference loss at nationally ranked (#32) Georgia Tech. In its three league matches thus far, the Bulldogs fell to Wofford (L, 3-4) and (#75) Samford (L, 0-7) while earning a 5-2 win over UNCG.
