TEAM
- Today's game marked the 100th meeting all-time between the Mocs and the Catamounts.
- WCU is Chattanooga's most-played team in UTC's 51-year history. The next highest is ETSU (93 games).
- The Mocs now lead the all-time series 87-13.
- UTC has won its past five meetings with the Catamounts dating back to a loss to WCU on January 28, 2023 (WCU won 56-48).
- The last time the Mocs lost to the Catamounts in Cullowhee came all the way back on Feb. 22, 2010 (WCU won 51-49).
- Since then, the Mocs have won 14-straight road games in Cullowhee.
- The Mocs have now won each of their last three SoCon openers.
- Deandra Schirmer continues the streak of every Chattanooga head coach in program history winning their first SoCon game (dating back to Chattanooga joining the SoCon in 1984).
- Since then, Sharon Fanning, Craig Parrott, Wes Moore, Jim Foster, Katie Burrows, Shawn Poppie and now Deandra Schirmer each were victorious in the very-first SoCon game that they coached in.

- UTC shot the ball at a 45.5 percent clip (25-for-55) from the field.

- UTC out-rebounded the Catamounts 29-26 overall on the night.
- The Mocs are 6-2 this season when out-rebounding their opponent.
- This was thanks in large part to Chattanooga out-rebounding WCU 9-1 in the fourth quarter.
- The Mocs won the turnover battle by forcing 22 out of Western while only committing 15 of their own.
- This was compounded with UTC logging 12 total steals to WCU's five.
- 19 of UTC's 67 points (28.4 percent) came off the bench compared to Western only scoring five off the bench.

- Played in her third game with the Mocs.
- It marks her 78th career game played.
- Finished with three points for the Mocs after connecting on one of her three three-point attempts of the night.

Takia Davis, Sr., F/C
- Checked into her 82nd career game (61st as a Moc).
- Marks her 12th appearance of the season.
- Recorded one rebound and one block in the win.
- Has more blocks this season (6) than in her past two seasons combined (4).
- Her one block tied her for the team-high in the stat on the night.
- Has led the team in blocks four times this season.

Sigrun Olafsdottir, Sr., G/F
- Made her 131st career start (all with the Mocs).
- Played in her 134th career game (all with the Mocs).
- Olafsdottir is now two games away from tying Abbey Cornelius for the most game played in program history (136).
- Olafsdottir is also 18 appearances away from tying David Jean-Baptiste and AJ Caldwell for the most games played by a men's OR women's basketball player in UTC history (152).
- She currently sits in sole possession of second in program history for career games played.
- Stuffed the stat sheet with four rebounds, three points, three assists and three steals.
- Led the team in assists for the eighth time this season.
- Led the team in steals for the ninth time this season.
- Has logged multiple assists in 12 out of UTC's 14 games this season.
- Has logged at least one steal in every game this season.
- Has recorded multiple steals in 10 out of 14 games this season.
- Played in all 40 minutes of the game, her eighth time doing so this season.

Caia Elisaldez, So., G
- Made her 12th start of the season, 15th of her career.
- Appeared in her 46th career game, 13th of the season.
- Dropped a career-high 21 points on a blazing-hot 64.3 (9-for-14) shooting percentage.
- Marks the first time of her collegiate career scoring 20+ points.
- Marks the ninth time this season and 13th time of her career finishing as a double-digit scorer.
- Has now led the Mocs in scoring four times this season.
- Her 21 points are tied for the most scored by any UTC player in a game so far this season.
- Karsen Murphy's 21-point performance against Lipscomb was the only other 20+ point game by a Moc this year.
- Also added two assists, two rebounds and two steals to her stat line.
- Has logged multiple assists in every game this season.
- Has recorded multiple steals in five games this season.

Frode Flos van der Schans, RSo., F/C
- Checked into her 12th game of the season. 22nd of her career.
- Finished a perfect 2-for-2 from the floor, scoring five points in the process for the Mocs.
- Also notched herself two rebounds, one assist and one steal.
- This is just the fourth time of her career where she's logged a steal in a game.

Ava Card, Fr., G/F
- Appeared in her 13th game of her rookie campaign.
- Finished as the team's second-leading scorer with 11 points.
- Shot the ball at a 4-for-8 clip (50 percent) from the floor.
- This marks the third time of the season and of her career in which she's finished as a double-digit scorer.
- She has now scored 10+ points in each of her past three games: 10 at Nebraska, 13 vs. Salem, 11 at Western Carolina.
- Added four rebounds and an assist to her totals.

Gianna Corbitt, Fr., F
- Made her 12th career start for the Mocs.
- Appeared in her 14th game of the season.
- Finished tied for the team-high in steals (3).
- This marks her fourth time leading the team in steals this season.
- Also had four points and three rebounds.
- This was Corbitt's lowest scoring output since only having four points back on November 17 at Mississippi State.

Brooke Anya, Gr., F/C
- Made her ninth start for the Mocs (67th start of her career).
- Appeared in her 119th career game (14th as a Moc).
- Scored 10 points for the Mocs after ging 4-for-8 (50 percent) from the floor.
- This is the fifth time this season and 25th time of her career in which she's scored 10+ points.
- Led the Mocs with six rebounds, three of which were offensive boards.
- Has led the team in rebounding three times this season.
- Also led the Mocs in blocks with one, her third time leading the team in that stat this season.
- Recorded an additional one steal on the night.

Karsen Murphy, Sr., F/C
- Made her 56th career start (all with the Mocs).
- Played in her 117th career game (105th as a Moc).
- Ended the night with 10 points, her first double-digit scoring effort since scoring 11 against Kennesaw State on December 8.
- Has been a double-digit scorer six times this season and 14 times in her career.
- Notched three rebounds and two steals in the win as well.
- Has now recorded 2+ steals in a total of three games this season.
