First Look
The Chattanooga Mocs are coming out of their bye week and into game seven with half the season behind them and the other half coming up. It's a complete SoCon sprint to the finish line of the regular season beginning Saturday with ETSU.

Today was press conference Tuesday. Coach
Rusty Wright began the proceedings followed by Offensive tackle
Ryan Merklinger and defensive end
Marquise Freeman.

About the Speakers
- Coach Wright's squads are 5-1 coming out of the bye with the lone loss coming in 2023 at Alabama.
- Merklinger is in his first year at Chattanooga after beginning his career at Valparaiso and Western Illinois. He is a leader on the offensive line unit that has seen the Mocs running game average more than 270 yards per game over the last four contests.
- Freeman is one of the elder statesmen of the squad. The senior is in his fourth year in the program after transferring from Washington State. He is one of 16 Mocs in the third year or more in the program.
