Men’s Tennis Set for Gridiron Classic in Macon

The Chattanooga Mocs men’s tennis team will join a plethora of Division I talent at this weekend’s Gridiron Classic.

CHATTANOOGA (October 2, 2025) – The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team is set to compete in this weekend's Gridiron Classic hosted by Mercer in Macon, Ga., this weekend running from Friday through Sunday at the John Drew Tennis Center.
 
The large event features over 100 competitors in both open singles and doubles play with representatives from 12 different collegiate programs including 10 from the NCAA Division I ranks. The event is flighted with a tournament bracket for both singles and doubles formats.
 
Chattanooga will travel eight players including Martin Delnido, Julian Franzmann, Cortland Grove, Kristof Kincses, Carter Ramthun, Jaxon Lamb, Sebastian Johnson and TJ Ryerson. The event's ITA homepage with results, draws, brackets and more can be found at the link below.
