Box Score SPARTANBURG, S.C. (October 31, 2025) --- The Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-10) sweep on the road at Wofford during Southern Conference action on Friday night in Spartanburg, S.C.
Following the defeat, Chattanooga drops to 13-10 overall and 7-4 in SoCon play while Wofford improves to 12-10 and 8-3 inside the conference. The Terriers and Mocs entered the match in a three-way tie (including Furman) for second place in the league standings.
Set 1 - Wofford 25, Chattanooga 20
- Wofford jumped out to an early 12-5 lead in the early stages to force Chattanooga into a timeout.
- A tandem block from
Sydney Jackwin and
Kynli Kirkendoll cut the deficit to five, 19-14.
- Wofford closed out the opening set by exchanging the next 12 points for a 25-20 set final.
Set 2 - Wofford 25, Chattanooga 17
- The second set saw back-and-forth action during the front side as Wofford held a slight 12-10 lead after a
Kendyl MacAskill kill.
- The Terriers went on a 6-2 run from that point to help build an 18-12 lead.
- Wofford closed out the set with six of the final eight points to finalize the 25-17 set win and a 2-0 lead in the match.
Set 3 - Wofford 25, Chattanooga 10
- Wofford raced out to a 10-4 lead after multiple Mocs attacking errors help the contribution towards the deficit.
- It was all Terriers from that point as the hosts closed out the match sweep with a 25-10 victory in the third and final set.
