First Look
The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team completed the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills in eighth place. The day's 301 provided a final total of 908 which was seven behind Minnesota in seventh and one clear of Rutgers in ninth.
 
Breakdown

• Mocs got off to a strong start with four birdies on the counting cards on the par 5 1st hole.
• The squad was six under through five holes with nine of the day's 15 birdies coming right at the start.
• Holes 6-15 took a toll. The Mocs were 18 over through that stretch before closing at 1 over down the stretch.
• Ethan Whitaker led the way today with 72 (E). Camden Braidech was low for the tourney tying for 19th at 225.
• Whitaker and individual Conner Brummitt were one behind tied for 22nd at 226.
• Dalton Burts (76), Griffin Law (79) and Evan Rogers closed out today's cards.
