CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga Mocs, back-to-back defending Southern Conference Softball Champions, are set for an exciting 2026 campaign featuring a challenging non-conference slate, two home tournaments, and a competitive Southern Conference schedule at Frost Stadium.

The season opens February 6-8 at the Troy Tournament in Troy, Ala., before the Mocs return home for the Chattanooga Challenge (Feb. 13-15) at Frost Stadium. The team will also host the annual Frost Classic from February 20-22, giving fans an early opportunity to see the Mocs in action.

"As excited as we are about the new season approaching, we also understand that we lost eight seniors who won three championship rings in their four years," head coach Frank Reed said. "Needless to say, a lot of work has gone into the fall and we are looking to come out strong."
 
Road trips highlight the early season with stops at Jacksonville State (Feb. 18), Kennesaw State (Feb. 25), and Lipscomb (Mar. 4). Tournament play continues at Southern Miss (Feb. 27-Mar. 1) and Central Arkansas (Mar. 6-8).
 
Southern Conference play begins March 21-22 when the Mocs host Wofford for a three-game series. Other home conference matchups include Mercer (Apr. 3-4), ETSU (Apr. 11-12), and Furman (May 2-3). Key road series feature trips to Samford (Mar. 28-29), Western Carolina (Apr. 18-19), and UNC Greensboro (Apr. 25-26).
 
The regular season concludes with the Southern Conference Tournament May 5-9 at Frost Stadium. Postseason play continues with NCAA Regionals (May 14-17) and Super Regionals (May 21-24) at campus sites.
 
Season tournament schedules will be released as they become available.
