CHATTANOOGA (November 6, 2025) --- The Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball team takes its Division I-leading winning streak out west for an extremely rare and unique non-conference road trip that features two games, in two nights, in two different states, against two high-level programs in RV Saint Mary's (CA) and UNLV.

Chattanooga (1-0) kicks off the trip Friday night in Moraga, Calif., with a matchup against perennial national power Saint Mary's (CA) (1-0) for the second-straight season with tip-off is set for 10:30 p.m. (EST) on ESPN+. The Mocs will then immediately fly to Las Vegas, Nev., to face UNLV on Saturday evening as tip-off is set for 9 p.m. ET on the Mountain West Network.

SCOUTING SAINT MARY'S (CA)
Receiving votes in the initial AP Top 25, Saint Mary's (CA) opened the season with an 84-58 home victory over St. Thomas (MN) on Monday evening inside the UCU Pavilion. SMC notched its 18^th-straight postseason appearance last year as the Gaels advanced to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament following a win over Vanderbilt. SMC is 105-30 (.778) against non-conference opponents in the regular season since 2015-16.
 
SCOUTING UNLV
UNLV dropped its season and home opener to a familiar face of the Mocs on Tuesday night, falling 86-81 to UT Martin inside the Thomas & Mack Center. Head coach Josh Pastner is in his first season in Las Vegas after last serving as a bench boss during the 2022-23 season at Georgia Tech.  
 
DEJA VU?
Chattanooga heads to Moraga, Calif., for the second-straight year to battle national power Saint Mary's (CA). Last year's contest? Also on November 7. Also the second game of a new season.      
 
LAST TIME IN MORAGA
Chattanooga rallied to take a second-half lead last year against the Gaels before eventually falling 86-74 inside UCU Pavilion. The game marked the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
 
LONGEST ACTIVE STREAK IN DI
Chattanooga carries NCAA Division I's longest active winning streak (W6) into Friday's contest at SMC. The Mocs now pace the nation after Florida saw its W12 streak snapped against Arizona on Monday.
 
ROAD WARRIORS LEAD NATION                                              
Chattanooga has played to a 47-29 (.618) record in true road games since 2020... the 47 wins are the most in NCAA DI during that span... four clear of UC Irvine (43) and five of Belmont (42) entering 2025-26.
