CHATTANOOGA (February 14, 2025) – The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team will continue their season with a pair of non-conference home matches against Austin Peay and Coastal Alabama on Saturday.
Saturday's action will kick off at 1 p.m. with a tilt against Austin Peay, and the Mocs will conclude their day by facing Coastal Alabama at 6 p.m. Both matches will be held at the Strang-Voges Tennis Center on the campus of the McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Scouting Chattanooga
Chattanooga comes into the weekend after a convincing 5-2 win against Eastern Kentucky on Saturday afternoon. The Mocs secured the doubles point before
Ryan Mudre and
Kristof Kincses won the No. 2 and No. 5 singles, respectively, to put Chattanooga up 3-0 in the match. In the No. 6 spot,
Ethan Carr clinched the match for the Mocs by posting a 6-2, 7-6 (6) win.
Scouting Austin Peay
Austin Peay picked up two wins against Oakland City, 5-2, and Brescia, 7-0, on Saturday. In 2024, the Governors went 5-13 overall and 0-9 in ASUN conference play. The Mocs won the last meeting between the two teams 7-0 back on March 1, 2024, and Chattanooga has won the last seven matchups.
Scouting Coastal Alabama
Coastal Alabama comes into the weekend after a 7-2 win against Itawamba and sweeping Huntingdon 7-0 on Saturday. They went 15-7 overall in 2024 and posted a 6-2 conference record. The Coyotes finished second in the Alabama Community College Conference and 20
th in the NJCAA championship. Saturday evening's match will be the first meeting between Chattanooga and Coastal Alabama.
