CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga softball annual Frost Classic schedule underwent changes due to colder weather in the area this weekend.

Three fields will be utilized with game times on Friday and Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Sunday's games will begin at Noon.

The Mocs will host IU Indy at 12:30 p.m. Friday and Indiana State at 3:00 p.m. On Saturday it will be UTC vs. Lamar at 12:30 p.m. and Illinois State in the second game. Sunday's first pitch is set for Noon and the Mocs will take on Southeast Missouri (SEMO).

All Chattanooga games are played at Frost Stadium. All neutral site games are slated for Fields 1 and 2 at Warner Park. Tournament passes may be purchased online at GoMocs.com or the Frost Stadium ticket booth. Single-day tickets are also available.

ABOUT CHATTANOOGA (3-7)
The Mocs opened the season with a sweep on the opening day of the Frank Griffin Classic in DeLand, Fla., hosted by Stetson. UTC beat Fairleigh Dickinson 8-0 in five inning before edging Binghamton in the second game 4-3. On Saturday, the Mocs fell to Binghamton 9-1 in five innings and then put up 10 runs in a shootout loss, 14-10 to host Stetson. The Hatters came back on Sunday to claim a 5-4 victory over Chattanooga in the bottom of the seventh. UTC snapped it's skid on Sunday of the Chattanooga Challenge with a come-back 5-3 win over Lindenwood.

Olivia Lipari leads the Mocs with a .429 batting average. She has a team-leading 11 RBI with a home run and five doubles on 12 hits. She has drawn seven walks and has a sac fly.
Kailey Snell is second on the team in hitting with a .412 batting average. She has 14 hits, two of them doubles, two sac bunts and drawn four walks.
Acelynn Sellers leads the team with a .903 slugging percentage and his third on the team with a .387 batting average. She had four home runs in the opening tournament including three against Stetson, and has a team-leading 11 runs batted in.
Camryn Cernuto is hitting .367 and
Zoe Wright is at .346.

Peja Goold has a team-best 3.33 ERA. She pitched a one-hitter against FDU to start the season. Goold leads the team with 25 strikeouts in 21.0 innings pitched.

ABOUT IU INDY (2-5)
The Jaguars picked up a win over CSUN in the UCLA Invitational in Los Angeles to start the season and came away with a 9-1 victory over Canisius in five innings in the final game of the USC Upstate Tournament in Spartanburg, S.C. Kendall Calvert leads the team with a .333 batting average hitting 6-of-18. Molly Kable has four RBI on five hits with a .313 batting average and one home run. The team is hitting .266 through seven games. Lily Roush has a team-best 3.23 ERA. She has struck out four in 13.0 innings pitched with six earned runs.

INDIANA STATE (1-8)
The Sycamores opened the season in Ft. Myers, Fla., at the FGCU Tournament and picked up a 4-3 win against LIU. At the Samford Tournament last weekend, Indiana State fell twice to the host Bulldogs and two more to UAB. Sophie Esposito leads the Sycamores with a .250 batting average with six hits in 24 at bats. Hannah Welch (.222) and Lauren Marsicek (.211) each have a two doubles, Brailey Mills (.143) has a triple and Abby Widmar (.333) has the team's lone home run. She has made three appearances and one hit in three at bats. Hailey Griffin has a 1-2 record and a 1.62 ERA to lead Indiana State. She has 15 strikeouts in 17.1 innings pitched. Lauren Sackett has a team-leading 18 strikeouts in 24.1 innings pitched and a 2.88 ERA.

ILLINOIS STATE (2-7)
The Redbirds picked up a win over Delaware to start the season at the USF Tournament in Tampa, Fla. In Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Illinois State tallied a shutout against North Dakota State in its final game of the Puerto Vallarta College Classic. The team is hitting .222 led by Bailah Bognar with a .273 batting average followed by Delainey Bryant with a .267 batting average. Hannah Meshnick leads the team with a 1.25 ERA with 10 strikeouts in 33.2 innings pitched and a 2-2 record.

LAMAR (6-3)
The Cardinals opened the season with a double header win over UL Monroe in the UH/UL Tournament in Beaumont, Texas. After a 4-3 extra inning win over St. John's, Lamar fell 13-7 to #1 Texas in the finale. The Cardinals then went 3-2 in the I-10 Border Classic with a win over Nicholls and two against Missouri State while falling 13-0 to #6 Tennessee in five innings. Veronica Harrison is hitting a team-best .435 with two home runs, three doubles and a team-high seven RBI. Trinity Brandon has six RBI with a .360 batting average that includes a double, triple and home run. Reagan Smith leads the team with a 2-0 record and a 3.07 ERA. She has seven strikeouts in 14.2 innings pitched.

SOUTHEAST MISSOURI [SEMO] (2-2)
At the Cardinal Clash in Troy, Ala., SEMO posted back-to-back wins over Alabama State. The team is hitting .315 led by Tatum Gerwitz hitting 7-for-10 (.700). Brooklyn Saysoff (.429) and Sydney Melton (.364) each have a team-high four RBI. Melton leads the Redhawks with three doubles. In one appearance, Elliott Stinson is 1-0 with three strikeouts in 4.2 innings pitched and a 0.00 ERA.
