JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The kick off to the 2025 season is finally here as the Chattanooga beach volleyball team travels to Jacksonville, Florida, for the Duuuval Duals tournament, hosted by North Florida from February 28 to March 1.
Coming off a historic 2024 season in which they claimed both the OVC regular season and tournament titles, the Mocs look to further compound their previous success with an experienced squad returning to the sandy courts. An astounding eight of UTC's ten primary starters from last season are back in action, each earning a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Preseason Watch List—a league record.
Chattanooga's season-opener against Jacksonville is set for Friday, February 28, with first serve scheduled for 8 a.m. ET. The Mocs will then wrap up the opening day of competition at 2 p.m. ET by battling it out with Mercer.
Saturday's slate will then once again kick off at 8 a.m. ET with the Mocs taking on Saint Leo, before UTC closes out its season-opening weekend with a 2024 NCAA Tournament rematch against No. 19 North Florida at 12 p.m. ET.
