CHATTANOOGA (February 27, 2025) – The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team will hit the road to continue their 2025 campaign with a pair of away matches against non-conference opponents Kennesaw State on Friday and Presbyterian on Sunday.
Friday's match at Kennesaw State is slated for a 1 p.m. start in Kennesaw, Ga., and the match at Presbyterian will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday in Clinton, S.C.

Scouting Chattanooga
Chattanooga enters the weekend after posting a 5-2 victory to upset nationally ranked No. 75 Georgia Southern on Saturday. After thrilling doubles action, the Mocs were ahead 1-0 early in the match.
Kristof Kincses clinched the match for Chattanooga by putting up a 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 win in the No. 6 singles. The Mocs have now won five-straight matches, and their victory over Georgia Southern marks Chattanooga's first ranked win on record (unconfirmed).
Scouting Kennesaw State
Kennesaw State is coming into the weekend following a 4-0 loss to Georgia Southern on Friday. They went 14-6 overall in 2023-24 and posted a 7-2 record in Atlantic Sun Conference play. Kennesaw State advanced to the ASUN Tournament semifinals before falling 4-1 to Stetson. The Mocs bested the Owls 5-2 in their last meeting on March 4, 2023.
Scouting Presbyterian
Presbyterian enters Sunday's matchup following a 7-0 win against Emmanuel on Saturday and a 6-1 victory against Converse on Sunday. In 2023-24, the Blue Hose were 7-14 overall and went 2-2 in conference matchups. They advanced to the Big South Tournament semifinals where they lost to UNC Asheville 4-2. In their last meeting on February 24, 2024, the Mocs put up a 4-3 victory over Presbyterian.
