- This marked the 68th meeting between Chattanooga and UNCG.
- UTC leads the all-time series 51-17.
- It also marked the 12th time that these two programs have met in the SoCon Tournament.
- The last time came last year in 2024, when UTC defeated UNCG 69-60 in the SoCon title game.
- UTC is now 9-3 when playing UNCG in the postseason.
- Chattanooga's all-time SoCon Tournament record moves to 68-22.
- Chattanooga's all-time SoCon Tournament record as a No. 2 seed moves to 11-3.
- This was the first time the Mocs have ever lost in the SoCon title game.
- UTC is now 20-1 in SoCon Championship games.
- This is the sixth time that the Mocs have come into the SoCon Tournament as the No. 2 seed.
- Deandra Schirmer is now 2-1 in SoCon Tournament games.
- The Mocs saw their last eight-game SoCon Tournament win streak snapped.
- The streak dated back to a SoCon Quarterfinal win back in 2023 that started the streak
- The last Chattanooga loss in the SoCon Tournament came back in 2022 (Furman def. Chattanooga 70-63 (OT) in the 2022 SoCon Quarterfinals).
- Deandra Schirmer is just the third head coach in program history to lead the Mocs to a top-two seed in the SoCon Tournament in their first season with the program.
- She joins Shawn Poppie (2022-23) and Jim Foster (2013-14).
- Coach Schirmer went with the following starting five:

- The Mocs are now 13-9 when playing that starting five this season.
- The game went to overtime, 55th overtime game in program history.
- The Mocs are now 27-28 in overtime games all-time; 0-2 this season.
- This is the fourth time in SoCon history a WBB title game went to OT; second time involving the Mocs.
- The only other time UTC went to OT in the SoCon title game was in 2015 (UTC won 61-56 over ETSU).
- The Mocs are now 1-1 in overtime SoCon Tournament title games.
- UNCG ended the game with 33 free throw attempts to Chattanooga's 13.
- This was due to UTC being called for 22 fouls compared to UNCG's 11.
- UNCG out-scored the Mocs 19-0 in bench points.
- It's the third time this season that the Mocs have seen all of their points be scored by their starting five.
- Chattanooga out-scored Greensboro in the paint 28-20.

- Checked into her 18th game in a UTC jersey.
- Marks her 93rd career game played.
- Finished with two rebounds and a steal.
- Her one steals ties a season-high for her.
Sigrun Olafsdottir, Sr., G/F
- Made her 147th career start (all with the Mocs).
- Played in her 150th career game (all with the Mocs).
- Holds the program record for most games played in program history (150 and counting).
- Also holds the program record for most career starts (147 and counting).
- Olafsdottir is also two appearances away from tying David Jean-Baptiste and AJ Caldwell for the most games played by a men's OR women's basketball player in UTC history (152).
- Led Chattanooga with two steals, her 20th time leading the team in steals this season.
- With her at 202 career steals she is now tied for fifth place on program's all-time steals list, tying Nicole Mattison (2002-06) and Jan Cameron (1990-94).
- Officially logged her 71st steal of the season.
- She's the first Moc since 2013-14 to record 71+ steals in a single season.
- Scored seven points for the Mocs on a 3-for-5 (60 percent) shooting clip.
- Also had three rebounds and two assists.
- Played in all 44 minutes of the game before fouling out in overtime.
Caia Elisaldez, So., G
- Was voted First Team All-Tournament.
- Made her 28th start of the season, 31st of her career.
- Appeared in her 29th game of the season, 62nd of her career.
- Scored eight points for UTC, her lowest scoring output in a game since having six against Mercer back on Jan. 18.
- Led the team with six assists.
- This is her 21st time leading UTC in assists this season.
- Had a rebound as well.
- Played in all 45 minutes of the game, tying her career-high for minutes played in a game.

- Checked into her 28th game of the season. 38th of her career.
Ava Card, Fr., G/F
- Appeared in her 28th game of her rookie campaign.
- Ended up logging two rebounds.
Gianna Corbitt, Fr., F
- Was voted Second Team All-Tournament.
- Made her 28th career start for the Mocs.
- Appeared in her 30th game of the season.
- Led Chattanooga in scoring with a career-high 18 points.
- Has led UTC in scoring six times this season.
- Has been a double-digit scorer 16 times in her career.
- Also logged eight rebounds in the loss.
- Rounded out her stat line with two assists, a block and a steal.
Brooke Anya, Gr., F/C
- Made her 25th start for the Mocs (83rd start of her career).
- Appeared in her 135th career game (30th as a Moc).
- Logged a double-double for the Mocs, finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
- Marks her first double-double of the season/in a UTC jersey.
- Is the fifth double-double of her career.
- Her 10 rebounds were a team-high, marking her fourth time leading the team in the stat this season.
- Anya has been a double-digit scorer 10 times this season. 30 times in her career.
- Anya has been a double-digit rebounder one time this season. 11 times in her career.
- Also had two assists and a steal.
Karsen Murphy, Sr., F/C
