Braidech Is Through 18 Holes at Auburn

Camden Braidech got his NCAA postseason ledger opened Monday with the opening round of the Auburn Regionals.

What's at Stake: Braidech is currently 46th overall, six shots back of the current individual qualifying spot. That's tied for 23rd on that list. The top five teams and the best individual finisher not on one of those squads move on to the NCAA Championships. It's 54 holes with 18 holes per day leading to the advancement reveal at the completion of the final round Wednesday afternoon.

What to Know
  • Weather wreaked havoc on the opening 18. The original tee times were moved back 30 minute before lightning in the area created a 2-hour, 37-minute delay in the middle of the afternoon.
  • Braidech was even through 12 at the point of the delay. Shot 3 over on the final six holes.
  • Five birdies, seven pars, five bogeys and one other were recorded on today's card. Third round this season with five or more birdies on his card.
  • One birdie shy of 100 this season.
  • Scoring by hole type – Par 3: +3 | Par 4: +2 | Par 5: -2.
  • Scoring by 9 – Front: E | Back: +3.
  • Current team leaderboard has host Auburn on top at 13 under. UCLA is second at 8 under with Georgia Tech (-4) and SMU (-2) following. The trio of Purdue, Texas A&M and New Mexico State are tied for the final qualifying spot with even-par totals, one ahead of TCU.
  • The Tigers' Brendan Valdes is the individual leader shooting 65 (-7). Claes Borregaard from Kennesaw State is currently in the advancing individual spot at 4 under.
