Men’s Tennis’ Jakub Jupa Earns Pre-Qualifying Spot in ITA All-American Championships

The Chattanooga Mocs men’s tennis junior will represent Chattanooga at this week’s ITA All-American Championships held in Tulsa, OK.

CHATTANOOGA (September 18, 2025) – Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis junior Jakub Jupa has earned a pre-qualifying spot in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championships hosted by the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
 
Jupa was originally listed as the first alternate for the pre-qualifying stage before eventually earning his official spot among the 160 on Thursday. The pre-qualifying singles stage, which begins on Saturday, consists of 160 individuals aiming to earn advancement to the qualifying round of 64, ultimately vying for a spot among the 64-player field in the main draw.
 
The ITA All-American Championships are an official qualifying event for the NCAA Division I singles and doubles championships. Through the event, 10 singles players (eight main quarterfinalists + two feed-in consolation finalists) and four doubles teams will qualify for the NCAA championships.
