First Look
The Chattanooga Mocs return to Finley Stadium Saturday to host The Citadel in the Southern Conference opener for the boys from the Scenic City. There are a lot of events surrounding the weekend with Hall of Fame inductions, championship reunion and plenty of academic spice to make everything nice.

Breakdown
- It's Academic Night. All student-athletes who registered 3.0 or better on the academic scale will be honored in pre-game festivities.
- It can't be Academic Night and not remember the educators. All Hamilton County educators can get discounted tickets at GoMocs.com/Tickets with the promo code "HCDE2025". - Six new members of the UTC Athletics Hall of Fame will be inducted Friday night along with four special award winners. The group are also presented during the football game Saturday evening. This year's honorees can be found here.
- Last but certainly not least, the 2013, 2014 and 2015 SoCon Championship squads are returning for a reunion to celebrate their significant accomplishments. The squads will also be honored on the field during the game.

The next eight games decide everything for the 2025 edition of the Chattanooga Mocs. The non-conference slate is complete and emerging from that gauntlet is a 9-week grind to the finish looking to become the first SoCon champions since the 2015 group being honored this week.

The Mocs host The Citadel, ETSU (Oct. 18), Western Carolina (Nov. 1) and Furman (Nov. 8), while traveling to VMI (Oct. 4), Samford (Oct. 25), Mercer (Nov. 15) and Wofford (Nov. 22).
