- The Chattanooga Mocs opened Southern Conference action Saturday night with a 28-10 loss to The Citadel at Finley Stadium…the Mocs are now 1-4, 0-1 in the league…the Bulldogs are 2-3, 2-1 in conference play.
- 24-25 all-time in SoCon openers…13-11 at home.
- 3-2 against the Bulldogs in league openers…Last? 2023 (W, 48-3).
- 59th meeting with the Bulldogs…most frequent opponent in school history and the Mocs most frequent victim with 36 wins all-time.

Rusty Wright coached his 69th game leading the Mocs program…that puts him alone in fifth for longest tenure breaking a tie with Rodney Allison (2003-08).
- Two football alum entered the UTC Athletics Hall of Fame in induction festivities Friday night…WR/P Joel Bradford '11 and DE Davis Tull '14 took their rightful places among the program's elites.

Montrell Henderson…1-2 when the duo serve as captains…Citadel won the toss and deferred... 0-3 when winning toss, 1-1 when losing it…first time starting on offense.

REUNION WEEKEND
The Mocs Championship Trilogy was in attendance tonight. The 2013, 2014 and 2015 league title teams were celebrated during their reunion weekend. The group's impressive list of accomplishments:

- 2 NCAA Playoffs Appearances
- Record 13 straight league wins
- 27 All-America Selections
- 40 All-Conference Picks
- 7 SoCon Player of the Year Honors
- 3 Academic All-America Awards
- Remarkably, the final losses in all 3 seasons came against the No. 1 ranked team in the country, all on the road with the last two coming down to the final play in the FCS Playoffs.

TEAM NOTES
- 321 yards of total offense…120 rushing and 201 passing…433 yards of total defense allowing 336 yards on the ground and 97 passing.
- 336 rushing yards allowed are the most since 351 to The Citadel on Nov. 16, 2019.
- Scored on first possession for third straight week…marched 57 yards on eight plays in 4:23 scoring on a 5-yard
Justus Durant rush…Durant put the offense in good field position with a 36-yard kick return.
- 120 rushing yards snaps a streak of 250+ in back-to-back games…858 yards the last three weeks (445-Stetson/293 at Tarleton).
- 201 passing yards is the second-highest total of the season behind 249 at Tennessee Tech.
- 2-3 in the red zone tonight (2TD/FG)… entered the contest tied for the NCAA DI lead in red zone offense scoring on 100 percent of their incursions inside the opponent's 20.
- The Bulldogs were 10 of 15 on third down tonight…two of three on fourth down.
- The Mocs were four of 10 on third downs…one of four on fourth downs.
- Season-low 23:47 in time of possession…Mocs ran 21 fewer plays tonight (51/72).

Camden Orth was 15 of 24 for 201 yards…long of 45 to
Jamarii Robinson.
- Orth added 44 yards rushing on eight carries…245 yards total offense is a season high.
- Robinson had season highs of five receptions and 89 yards…entered with 46 yards on four catches and a score.
- RB
Justus Durant ran for a team-high 74 yards on 15 carries and a score...5-yard TD run to open the scoring was the 20th of his career…that includes 13 at Shorter where he spent his first two collegiate seasons.
- Durant has 267 yards on 39 totes and three TDs over the last three contests.
- Career-high 19 tackles for S
Kam Baah-Slay…16 of the stops were solo…most by a Moc since Christian Snyder's 20 against Mercer on March 27, 2021.

Kamari Todd…Dickerson had two tackles while Todd record seven in the slot safety role including a half tackle for loss.
