CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga Mocs soccer team will head to Cookeville, Tenn., on Thursday, September 4 to take on Tennessee Tech in the last game as non-conference foes. TTU was announced as a new member of the Southern Conference beginning in the 2026-27 season.

The Mocs are off to their best start since 2023 when they went 6-1. UTC is tied with Furman in the SoCon standings and
Paige Thomas leads the league with four goals and is tied for lead in points scored with eight.
Caroline Richvalsky has two goals, two assists and six points for Chattanooga, fifth in the SoCon standings while four more are 13
th in the SoCon with one goal and one assist.
Caroline Ekern has three clean sheets this season, tied for the SoCon lead. She is second with a .80 goals against average and third with a .789 saves percentage. She took sole possession of first for shutouts with 17 over her four-year career.

ABOUT TENNESSEE TECH (0-5-1)
The Golden Eagles fell in five shutouts over their six matches this season and earned a 1-1 draw against SoCon foe East Tennessee State. TTU is 0-2-1 at home after hosting instate foes Lipscomb (0-2), Vanderbilt (0-6) and the Bucs (1-1) Ebba Melin scored the lone goal for Tennessee Tech this season and Lucia Cuadra leads the team in shots taken. Maggie Conrad has played all six games in the net for TTU and has 28 saves.
