The weekly Chat with the Mocs live radio show — usually broadcast from Miller's Ale House in Hixson every Monday evening on WFLI 1070 AM / 96.1 FM — is called off on January 24 due to potentially hazardous road conditions and safety concerns for fans and guests travelling to the venue. It will return the following Monday at 7 p.m., with iconic host Jim Reynolds joined by Mocs basketball coaches Dan Earl and Deandra Schirmer.
This weekend's weather system set the stage for icy conditions to start the week. Mocs Sports Properties and the Mocs athletic administration opted to cancel the live broadcast in order to keep all in the Chattanooga community safe.
The Mocs have several home events this week to make up for the night off.
