Overview
The Chattanooga Mocs are in a tie for 11th with Penn State as play was suspended at the Gators Invitational. The Mocs shot 296 in the opening 18 before recording 1 under in 15-plus holes before play was stopped. Chattanooga is just two shots out of the top 10 at the break.

Breakdown

• The second round was suspended due to darkness. The field returns to the course at 7:25 a.m., to complete it before playing the final 18 in a shotgun start in the same pairings as today.
• The Mocs opened with 296 which put them in a tie with Indiana and Jacksonville.
• Ethan Whitaker had the low round with an even-par 70. Thad Whitfield chipped in 73 as Evan Rogers (76) and Camden Braidech (77) rounded out the team score.
• The groups started off No. 10 and played the back nine at 10 over before turning over to the front side shooting 6 over.
• Whitaker had four of the counting cards seven birdies in round one.
• Rogers keyed the second round turnaround. His four birdies were offset by a single bogey as he was 3 under walking off the par 5 seventh and into the delay. Griffin law is 1 under through that same hole along with Whitfield (+1) and Whitaker (+2) completing the tally.
• The birdie total nearly doubled over the second 18 with 13. Rogers leads with four ahead of Whitfield and Law with three apiece.
