CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Chattanooga hurler
Taylor Long was named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association Pitcher of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday.

Long picked up her second win of the season in the Mocs 8-3 win over Ohio on Saturday of the Chattanooga Challenge. Against the Bobcats, the Calhoun, Ga., senior tied her season-high with 11 strikeouts and made it into the fifth inning with a no-hitter and gave up just three in the seven-inning complete game.

She started the weekend with eight K's in the Mocs 5-3 win against Bellarmine on Friday.

For the year, Long is 2-2 with 33 strikeouts in five appearances. She has two complete games and on Feb. 7 against Middle Tennessee, she threw her first career no-hitter at the 2026 Trojan Classic hosted by Troy.
