CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga softball team has a busy schedule this week with a midweek matchup at Tennessee State and a weekend three-game series against Wofford in the SoCon opener.

ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
The Mocs are 10-15-1 on the year. At the plate, UTC is hitting .295 with eight home runs, six triples and 27 doubles. UTC has driving in 101 runs and has a .363 on base percentage.
Ava Cowart leads the way with a .358 batting average.
Baileigh Pitts is hitting 355 with seven doubles, a triple and a home run with 13 RBI. She leads the Mocs with 12 walks, has a .513 slugging percentage and a 435 on base percentage.
Annika Segedi has a .309 batting average and
Chloe Lackey has 16 RBI with two home runs, two doubles and a triple.
Mia Leone leads the Mocs with three home runs and 20 RBI with a .500 slugging percentage.

Taylor Long is second in the SoCon with 83 strikeouts on the year and leads the league with 8.6 Ks per seven innings. Freshman
Emery Bales has a team-best ERA and is sixth in the SoCon with 31 strikeouts.

The Tigers are 0-16 this season and 0-6 in Ohio Valley Conference play. TSU is hitting .240 with three home runs, seven triples and 11 doubles with 45 RBI. Jace Jackson leads the team at the plate with a .469 batting average with one home run and eight RBI with three triples and three doubles of her own. MOCS vs. WOFFORD
UTC and the Terriers have met just six times with each claiming three wins. Wofford claimed the series in Chattanooga in 2024 by a 2-1 margin with UTC returning the favor on the road last season in Sprartanburg.

The Terriers are off to a stellar start with a 19-4 mark on the season. They have hosted three tournaments and got off to a 14-1 start with all games but one played on their home field. Mississippi State ended the 12-game win streak at the Tiger Classic in Clemson, S.C. Wofford is hitting .365 led by Desirae Devine with a .468 batting average. Brianna Stanley is hitting .441 with a team-high 30 RBI and six home runs.
