Overview
The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team shot 6-under 282 Sunday at the Hootie Intercollegiate at Bulls Bay. The 6 under is the lowest 18 vs par on the season. It puts the Mocs one stroke behind ETSU and West Virginia in eighth, and a stroke clear of Furman and Appalachian State in 11th at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, S.C.
 
Camden Braidech shot 69 to lead the squad. That was one better than Ward Harris at 70 which was one ahead of Ethan Whitaker who was one clear of Evan Rogers. Griffin Law had the drop score of 77. The Mocs earned their sub-par score in the later wave when the weather turned on the back nine making scores rise after a hot start for the field.

Breakdown

• Made the turn at 7 under on the counting cards.
• Birdies at 10 from Harris, Whitaker and Rogers increased that total to 10 under.
• A 5-shot hiccup at 16 (+1) and 17 (+4) cut the total in half before a birdie at 18 by Braidech finished the squad's scoring at 6 under.
• 8 under on the par 5s with all six birdies and an eagle on holes four and 10. The group was level par on the other three (2, 6 & 13) with one birdie, 10 pars and a bogey.
• Braidech was near perfect on the day with his 69 recording four birdies and a bogey to go with 13 pars.
• Braidech and Harris tied for the most the most birdies on the day with four apiece.
• The counting cards totaled 13 with an eagle as well (Rogers). Eleven of the 13 came in the first 10 holes.
