CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Pull out your finest pink attire and join the Chattanooga softball team Tuesday at Frost Stadium as they play host to Georgia State. The Mocs join with breast cancer survivors and those who lost the fight and their families to bring awareness to the fight against the disease.

The Mocs are bringing awareness to the fight against breast cancer by inviting all in attendance to wear PINK. Pink hats, courtesy of Erlanger, will be given away at the gate. There are a limited number of hats, so get there early.

Chattanooga leads the series 14-12 and has won the last six. UTC is 6-4 against the Panthers at home. In the last meeting, UTC beat GSU 9-1 in six innings in Atlanta.

ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
The Mocs are 12-20-1 on the year and 1-5 in Southern Conference play. The team is hitting .292 led by
Anna Dovey at .358 with five doubles, a grand slam and 15 RBI.
Ava Cowart is hitting .354 with a team-high 21 runs scored.
Baileigh Pitts is third on the team with a .351 batting average on seven doubles, a triple, a team-best three home runs and 17 RBI.
Mia Leone and
Chloe Lackey each have three home runs. Leone has eight doubles and a team-high 22 RBI. Lackey has driven in 21 runs and scored 19.

Taylor Long leads the SoCon with an 8.8 strikeouts per seven innings. The Calhoun, Ga., senior has 103 strikeouts in 82.1 innings pitched. Freshman
Emery Bales has four wins, four complete games and two saves.

ABOUT GEORGIA STATE
The Panthers are 20-17 on the year and 2-7 in the Sun Belt. The team is hitting .326 led by McKenzie Walker with a .422 batting average on 49 hits that include five doubles, three triples and two home runs and 21 RBI. Once she's on base, she reveals another weapon with 15 stolen bases. Maia Mumpfield is hitting .387 and leads the team with 36 RBI. Chloe Hatcher has 31 RBI, five home runs, a triple and four doubles.

Makayla Stephens is the lone returning hurler for Georgia State and leads the team with a 2.26 ERA. She is 13-8 with 26 appearances and a save. She has 152 strikeouts in 130.1 innings pitched.
