Due to inclement weather, the Saturday schedule is now Sunday and begins at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time.

CONWAY, Ark. --- The Chattanooga softball team fell to Central Arkansas and UL Monroe Friday afternoon on the opening day of the Milisa Moore/Shane Lamb Tournament at Shock Stadium in Conway, Ark.

Anna Dovey led the Mocs hitting 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI. Mia Leone drove in three runs on two hits, both doubles. Chloe Lackey and Raven Jones each drove in a run while Zoe Wright belted out a triple.

GAME ONE: Chattanooga 4, Central Arkansas 12 / 5 innings
Chattanooga struck early with a three‑run third inning, but Central Arkansas answered with back‑to‑back five‑run frames as the Mocs dropped a 12–4 decision in five innings Friday afternoon.

The Mocs (10‑12‑1) pieced together seven hits, highlighted by a two‑run double from Mia Leone and RBI knocks by Anna Dovey and Chloe Lackey. Chattanooga briefly held a 4–2 lead after pushing across one run in the second and three more in the third. Leone delivered her two‑RBI double down the left‑field line, and Dovey followed with an RBI double to left‑center to cap the inning.

UCA (14‑8) responded immediately, using a pair of multi‑hit, multi‑RBI efforts to swing momentum. Addie Graham tied the game with a two‑run homer in the fourth, part of a 2‑for‑4, three‑RBI day. The Bears added five runs in the fourth and five more in the fifth, powered by a grand slam from Emma Robertson and an inside‑the‑park homer by Kaitlyn Graham. UCA totaled 17 hits in the run‑rule win.

For Chattanooga, Annika Segedi recorded a two‑hit performance, while Zoe Wright added a late‑inning triple. Dovey finished 2‑for‑2 with a double, RBI and run scored.

The Mocs used three pitchers in the contest. Sophia Guerra opened before giving way to Taylor Long and Emery Bales, who combined for the remaining 3.2 innings.

GAME TWO: Chattanooga 2, UL Monroe 7
In the nightcap, the Mocs fell 7-2 to UL Monroe. The Warhawks got the scoring started in the second inning with a three-run homer.

The Mocs answered with one run in the second and another in the third to cut the lead to one run. However, ULM responded with three more runs in the fifth and a final in the seventh.

In the second, Mia Leone led off with a walk. Anna Dovey moved her over to second with a single. Dovey was thrown out at second on a fielder's choice to put runner at the corner, but the bases would load on the next at bat when Chloe Lackey was hit by the pitch.

Raven Jones hit a sac fly to center field, driving home the Mocs first run to make it 3-1 in the second.

With two outs in the third, Baileigh Pitts singled down the left field line and scored on a double off the bat of Leone to make it 3-2.

Dovey was 2-for-3, Leone was 1-for-2 with a walk, a double and an RBI. Jones was 1-for-2 with an RBI. Taylor Long went the distance and struck out six with three earned runs.
