On getting three wins today
"It was a great day. We went 3-0. You know, it started with a tough match against UNA, who, I think, is a very strong team, plays in a strong conference, and has had a really good year. And so to come out, winning a 3-2 match, I think that gave us a lot of confidence, and we built on that going into EKU. Even though we swept them the weekend before, we knew they'd be a tough challenge, as well, and I think we just kept getting better and better throughout the day. Even Berry, I know they're a smaller college, but they're a strong team, and they do well at their level, so we knew we couldn't take any points off, couldn't take it lightly, and so I liked the way the team approached each match and executed."
On celebrating Senior Day
"I think it's great. Obviously, it's a lot more fun when you win on Senior Day, and you get to celebrate them, and everybody's happy. I think it's just great to recognize these seniors. Obviously, Maddie (Lecik) and Kenny (Faychak) have been with us for a really long time, four years. They've been competing for us for four years, as far as leading the lineup. Even Sydney (Jackwin), a kind of late crossover from indoor to beach for two years. She's contributed for us in a big way. And even Ashli (McKenny), coming as a transfer, has had a great impact as a person and personality, and then also just contributing to the lineup. So for them to get three wins today and for them all to enjoy those wins and be celebrated was important."
