Quotable
"I'm just really, really proud of these guys. Other than Cam, these are all guys that we started recruiting four years ago when we got here. They bought into the vision that I had for this program, and where it could be and the things that we could do. To see it come to fruition this week and to be conference champions. these guys deserve that." –
Coach Blaine Woodruff on the win
"It was just a lot of trust in the program and Coach Blaine (Woodruff) and Coach 'Hoagie' (Ryan Hogan. They told us this was going to happen, and they brought each of us in for a certain reason. We finally just got to see all the work pay off this week." –

Breakdown
- The Mocs got off to a solid start with lots of early pars. Mercer and Western Carolina made a little early noise cutting into the lead, but it never drifted to below seven.
- They turned at 1 under and really put it out of reach on 11 playing the par 5 at 3 under and then sweeping through the par 5 15th at 5 under.
- Furman started sluggish and closed hard. The Paladins started the day in second trailing by 10. Their first nine saw that gap grow to 17 before a 12 under back side saw the squad rocket back up the leaderboard for the second-place finish.
- Harris (15) and Whitaker (13) ranked in the top 5 for birdies this week. Law tied for most eagles (2).
- Harris (-1) tied for the tourney's best score on the par 3s. Rogers tied for second playing level par on the par 4s.
- Three top 5 finishes for the Mocs. Third time: 2012, 2024 & 2026.
- UNCG's Kelvin Hernandez shot 9 under for medalist honors with a course-record 65 (-6).
- The 13-year gap between titles is the second-longest wait in school history behind 20 (1987-2007).
- The NCAA Selection Show is Wednesday, May 6, at 2 p.m., on the Golf Channel.
