BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - The Ohio Valley Conference announced Chattanooga's McKenna Faychak and Maddie Lecik as its Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week. This marks the second week in a row, and third time this season that the duo has won this award.

Additionally, Faychak and Lecik become the first duo in school history to win three OVC Pair of the Week honors in a single season. They are just the third pair in OVC history to win this award three times in a year. 

Playing in the No. 1 position, the pair went 3-0 with straight-set wins over Ottawa (Kan.), Liberty, and Eastern Kentucky. They won each set by an average of 9.3 points. The pair helped the Sandy Mocs win all three matches by a 5-0 sweeping score. 

Faychak and Lecik are back in action this weekend as UTC hosts the Scenic City Showdown. Chattanooga's scheduled for five matches across two days, beginning with an OVC match against UT Martin on Friday morning at 10 a.m.
