SoCon Softball Tournament Schedule Change Wednesday

Due to inclement weather forecast for the Chattanooga area Wednesday, the Southern Conference Softball Tournament is experiencing a schedule change. Game 2 will not be streamed. To be fair, there will not be replay for Games 1 and 2.
Game 1: #5 Chattanooga Mocs vs. #8 Furman Paladins will now be played ONE HOUR EARLIER at 9:00 a.m. at Frost Stadium.
Game 2: East Tennessee State vs. Mercer will be played at 9:00 a.m. at the Warner Park Quad.
Game 3: Game 1 winner vs. #4 Wofford will be played 30 minutes following Game 1 (approx. 12 p.m.) at Frost Stadium.
Game 4: Game 2 winner vs. #3 Western Carolina will be played 30 minutes following Game 3 (approx. 3:00 p.m.) at Frost Stadium.

SOFTBALL OPENS SOCON TOURNAMENT AGAINST No. 8 SEED FURMAN
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga softball team opens the Southern Conference Tournament Wednesday morning against a very familiar foe. The Mocs will take on Furman in the opening game just days after hosting the Paladins for the season-finale three-game series.
CHATTANOOGA vs. FURMAN
The Mocs are 90-28 vs. Furman dating back to 1994. UTC has won the last 13 games including three last weekend. In Chattanooga, the Mocs are 45-5 against Furman. The last time the two teams met in the SoCon Tournament was in Chattanooga in 2023. The Mocs won 8-3.
