Men’s Tennis Senior Jakub Jupa to Compete at ITA All-American Championships

Chattanooga Mocs senior tennis standout will represent the program at the All-American Championships for the second-straight year.
CHATTANOOGA (September 18, 2026) – Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis senior Jakub Jupa will represent the program at the ITA All-American Championships for the second-straight year as the prestigious annual event kicks off this weekend at the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Okla., and runs from September 19-27.
Jupa will face Oliver Sanders (Georgia) in the opening pre-qualifying stage on Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. (ET) / 10:30 a.m. (CT). The pre-qualifying round, which runs Saturday through Sunday, begins with 160 players and narrows down to a 64-player qualifying round on Monday and Tuesday.
All competitors who advance through the pre-qualifying and qualifying stages with unblemished records will earn a spot in the featured main draw round of 64 which opens on Wednesday. UTC's last main draw representative came back in 2021 (Tomas Rodriguez).
Through the ITA All-American Championships, 10 singles players (eight main draw quarterfinalists & two consolation finalists) and five doubles teams (four main draw semifinalists + consolation champion) will automatically qualify for the upcoming NCAA Championships.
