chattanooga MOCS

Tyler set three course records in June of 2007 with a 61 at Signal Mountain Country Club, 65 at Harpeth Hills Golf Course in Knoxville, Tenn., at National Pub Links qualifying and 64 at Belle Meade Country Club in Nashville at the Tennessee State Amateur...also finished sixth in the Don Mularkey Open (Chattanooga TPC Event) at three-under par, one stroke behind former Mocs teammate Bryce Ledford for low amateur honors.

2007-08

Tyler competed in three events...was clutch replacing an injured Freddie Qvicker finishing tied for 13th at the Bank of America Intercollegiate with an even-par score of 216...qualified for team play at the prestigious Carpet Capital Collegiate...best round of 69 was shot at the Bank of America...all five of his six team rounds counted to score.

2006-07

Competed in four events with a scoring average of 76.0...best finish came at the Raines Development Group Intercollegiate where he finished tied for seventh with an even-par score of 216...best round came at the same tournament with a second-round total of 68 (-4) ...counted five of six rounds to team score.

CLEVELAND STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Two-time NJCAA All-American while at Cleveland State C.C....finished tied for 10th in the NJCAA National Championships both seasons.

BEARDEN HIGH SCHOOL

Region champion as a junior...earned All-District and All-Region honors as a senior...also competed in basketball and baseball.

PERSONAL

Born Sept. 7, 1984 in Knoxville, Tenn....son of Bobby and Jana Neff...father was a punter and placekicker at East Tennessee State...has a sister, Jenna...majoring in sports management.
